McAuliffes Valley Nursery, Snohomish, WA, flowers, trees, plants
After buying our first home that came with one dead cherry tree and a row of junipers, we realized that we would need help with landscaping. We visited many nurseries and were extremely lucky that not only was McAuliffe’s Nursery local, it was also the best.

Our yard is now full of a variety of plants and trees with most all of them purchased from McAuliffe’s. They grow many of the plants themselves so you know they are well suited for the climate. We have a near perfect survival rate and can always ask Jamie and Tiffini for advice.

We have been very pleased with the quality of the plants, diverse selection, reasonable prices and the helpful staff. We look forward to continuing to improve our yard with plants from McAuliffe’s.

We have been so pleased with you folks, that it is an honor to write a little something, so this is what we came up with.

We have purchased a number of plants, shrubs and trees from McAuliffe’s Valley Nursery in Snohomish in the last 2 years. They have a huge selection of quality plants. Our experience has been so fun and pleasant working with Tiffini. She is extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. We will certainly be visiting McAuliffe’s Valley Nursery this spring and summer for our plant needs. Thank you for your excellent service.

Sincerely,
D & K Clausen
What Some of Our Customers Have To Say About Our Services....
My wife and I wanted to turn our ½ acre yard into a park-like paradise. We had just completed clearing and grading and had an expansive rock garden installed and needed to plant trees and plants to bring life and color into our yard. With such a large project we needed advice from knowledgeable, experienced gardeners as well as a nursery with a good selection of healthy plants and trees. We visited nearly two dozen garden nurseries in the Puget Sound region and fortunately we discovered McAuliffe’s Valley Nursery in Snohomish.

McAuliffe’s had the best selection of large, healthy farm grown deciduous and evergreen trees, and a vast selection of small plants, ornamental grasses, shrubs and ground cover. We were amazed at how much fuller and healthier their farm grown trees were compared to other nurseries we had visited, and their prices were actually less!!! The trees we have purchased from McAuliffe’s have made an immediate impact on our yard and appear as if they have been planted there for many years. Their selection of Japanese maples and unique dwarf conifers is unmatched and has enabled us to compliment our rock garden with the natural beauty of these focal points.

The staff at McAuliffe’s is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and have given us sound advice regarding plant selection, care and maintenance. The family like atmosphere, country setting, and friendly customer service makes shopping at McAuliffe’s something we truly look forward to.

We have received more compliments about the plants and trees in our yard than I could have ever imagined from our family, friends and neighbors. That is a great feeling. Our yard is transforming into the garden we envisioned and McAuliffe’s has helped us make it happen. Their customer service, selection, superior product, and prices are the best we have experienced.

Dear Tiffini,

The trees, rhododendrons and shrubs were put to immediate use. Tiffini, our hats off to you personally as you studied our 'opportunities' and made considerate design options!

McAuliffe's philosophy of giving back to the community is graciously received and all mentioned above will reap the benefits of your generosity for some time to come.

We are happy to share with you and all the McAuliffe's Valley Nursery family a few pictures that really displays our gratitude! Dear McAuliffe's Nursery: (Barbara, Alex, and 2 other wonderful guys! (sorry I don't remember your names)

I can't thank you enough for the great service you provide.  I found your nursery by chance just driving around a few weekends ago and so happy I did!!! Your available trees/shrubs/flowers...you name it...you got it.  And not only that, but the knowledge your staff has and the service they provide will keep me coming back!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my house more beautiful!!

Barbara - I love the birch and western cedar you sold me a few weeks ago! To McAuliffe's Nursery - Thank you and I will recommend you to everyone!!!  Trish D. - Bothell, WA

Hi, my wife and I stopped into the nursery yesterday and were really impressed with the specimens you have available.  So much that we have already told our friends and family how great your nursery is without even purchasing anything from you yet.  Our plans are to re-landscape our back yard to include several types of treesand tough shrubs and grasses.  As we have three large Mastiff dogs, we need our landscaping to hold up to their inadvertent torment.  Thank you for all of your hard work to bring such a high quality product selection to your customers.  It’s a huge relief to have found a place we can feel comfortable at.

Kind regards, K & K Lepic - Snohomish, WA

My husband and I had the pleasure of shopping at this local nursery this weekend.  I love everything about this place. First off, great parking - we were able to easily maneuver our large truck and 12 foot trailer in and out of there on a busy weekend, no problem. They have a great selection of healthy plants in all stages of growth from the little 4' Leyland cypresses we bought to the 12' weeping cedars we also took home with us.  The "aisles" between plants are wide and well groomed.  Everywhere you look, beautiful plants abound to inspire.

Their prices are very competitive.  We started the day shopping at ******, but left disappointed with their sickly trees for $100 each.  We also checked out ******** but could not get the attention of anyone there to help us.

Contrast that with McAuliffe's where perhaps their best feature is their knowledgeable and friendly staff.  We worked with Michelle who is so pleasant and approachable, even landscaping novices like ourselves left feeling confident that we could improve our curb appeal.  She listened well, giving us great feedback without making us feel pressured into buying anything.  She also ran and got an umbrella for us when I expressed concern that our baby was getting too much sun.  We left with lots of ideas, went home and took measurements.  We ended up going back the next day and purchasing several trees and a bag of fertilizer.

When it came time to load the trees onto our trailer, 2 young men brought them to us and loaded them up, taking great care to secure the branches with twine so they didn't get caught in the wheel well of the trailer.  They positioned each root ball to balance the weight and hold everything down securely.  We were quite impressed.

We will be back again and again - this place is a gem.

I have a love/hate relationship with the month of February. Well, I mostly love it, but I feel suspended in a bubble of anticipation, searching for signs of Spring and waiting to breathe the sweet blossoms of a new season. When I have that suspended feeling, what else is there to do but visit my local garden nursery. This picture is of a barn at McAuliffe’s Nursery in Snohomish, WA. The clouds were so beautiful the day I went, and armed with the newly discovered Hipstamatic App on my iPhone, I snapped a photo of this barn with the puffy, white clouds.

These teeny shots of inspiration are just what a simple girl needs to chug along until Spring. That little shed, with the oriental rugs and exposed ceiling, were like fresh air to me. We meandered around the brick pathways in search of more. After the pottery shed, we found ourselves in a flat of trees with buds holding all of their promise. Next, we saw plants blushing with the secrets of bloom, so we decided to take one home, a flowering Quince with an orchid-like posture, curling up toward the sky with branches like the arms of a ballerina. The ballerina is currently planted in the flowerbed with about six inches of snow on her delicate petals. I’m sure she will dazzle again in a few weeks. If you are having trouble pushing through the last weeks of Winter, visit a nursery and take something home. It might just be the thing you need to burst the bubble of anticipation and breathe anew!            Courtesy of the Speckle of Dirt Blog

From the desk of the no so ancient mariner to the staff at McAuliffe's.

This short not is not a nursery rhyme but indeed a nursery search.. My campaign started after I over fertilized and destroyed my 5' Hinoki Cypress, Gracilis, which I had for some 5 years after downsizing from the condo.  I searched out 4 nurseries for a replacement, each one advising that one would not be available till next spring..  Three days later frustrated, but determined, I was very fortunate to fine your Snohomish valley nursery, and selected just the right replacement.  My wife and I are truly enjoying our new tree, and I thanks you for it and the good advice that you gave me later in my 2 or 3 phone calls.... I have passed along my enjoyable experience with you and will continue to do so in the future! Again many Thanks David Pierce Mill Creek Washington

Thank you to you and your crew for doing such a amazing job on our yard.  We can't tell you what a difference it makes to walk outside.  We can't wait to keep the improvements on our " mini arboretum" I also appreciate the beautiful job Tiffini did on the very large pots. LOL!

I found this place on the way to a house warming party.   I picked up a small tree for the new owners.   I came back a few weeks later just to browse.  I loved it.   It is like a relaxing backyard.  Thanks for making it an enjoyable visit. Good prices and good selection.
