Dear McAuliffe's Nursery: (Barbara, Alex, and 2 other wonderful guys! (sorry I don't remember your names)
I can't thank you enough for the great service you provide. I found your nursery by chance just driving around a few weekends ago and so happy I did!!! Your available trees/shrubs/flowers...you name it...you got it. And not only that, but the knowledge your staff has and the service they provide will keep me coming back!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my house more beautiful!!
Barbara - I love the birch and western cedar you sold me a few weeks ago! To McAuliffe's Nursery - Thank you and I will recommend you to everyone!!! Trish D. - Bothell, WA

My husband and I had the pleasure of shopping at this local nursery this weekend. I love everything about this place. First off, great parking - we were able to easily maneuver our large truck and 12 foot trailer in and out of there on a busy weekend, no problem. They have a great selection of healthy plants in all stages of growth from the little 4' Leyland cypresses we bought to the 12' weeping cedars we also took home with us. The "aisles" between plants are wide and well groomed. Everywhere you look, beautiful plants abound to inspire.
Their prices are very competitive. We started the day shopping at ******, but left disappointed with their sickly trees for $100 each. We also checked out ******** but could not get the attention of anyone there to help us.
Contrast that with McAuliffe's where perhaps their best feature is their knowledgeable and friendly staff. We worked with Michelle who is so pleasant and approachable, even landscaping novices like ourselves left feeling confident that we could improve our curb appeal. She listened well, giving us great feedback without making us feel pressured into buying anything. She also ran and got an umbrella for us when I expressed concern that our baby was getting too much sun. We left with lots of ideas, went home and took measurements. We ended up going back the next day and purchasing several trees and a bag of fertilizer.
When it came time to load the trees onto our trailer, 2 young men brought them to us and loaded them up, taking great care to secure the branches with twine so they didn't get caught in the wheel well of the trailer. They positioned each root ball to balance the weight and hold everything down securely. We were quite impressed.
We will be back again and again - this place is a gem.

I have a love/hate relationship with the month of February. Well, I mostly love it, but I feel suspended in a bubble of anticipation, searching for signs of Spring and waiting to breathe the sweet blossoms of a new season. When I have that suspended feeling, what else is there to do but visit my local garden nursery. This picture is of a barn at McAuliffe’s Nursery in Snohomish, WA. The clouds were so beautiful the day I went, and armed with the newly discovered Hipstamatic App on my iPhone, I snapped a photo of this barn with the puffy, white clouds.
These teeny shots of inspiration are just what a simple girl needs to chug along until Spring. That little shed, with the oriental rugs and exposed ceiling, were like fresh air to me. We meandered around the brick pathways in search of more. After the pottery shed, we found ourselves in a flat of trees with buds holding all of their promise. Next, we saw plants blushing with the secrets of bloom, so we decided to take one home, a flowering Quince with an orchid-like posture, curling up toward the sky with branches like the arms of a ballerina. The ballerina is currently planted in the flowerbed with about six inches of snow on her delicate petals. I’m sure she will dazzle again in a few weeks. If you are having trouble pushing through the last weeks of Winter, visit a nursery and take something home. It might just be the thing you need to burst the bubble of anticipation and breathe anew! Courtesy of the Speckle of Dirt Blog

This short not is not a nursery rhyme but indeed a nursery search.. My campaign started after I over fertilized and destroyed my 5' Hinoki Cypress, Gracilis, which I had for some 5 years after downsizing from the condo. I searched out 4 nurseries for a replacement, each one advising that one would not be available till next spring.. Three days later frustrated, but determined, I was very fortunate to fine your Snohomish valley nursery, and selected just the right replacement. My wife and I are truly enjoying our new tree, and I thanks you for it and the good advice that you gave me later in my 2 or 3 phone calls.... I have passed along my enjoyable experience with you and will continue to do so in the future! Again many Thanks David Pierce Mill Creek Washington

I found this place on the way to a house warming party. I picked up a small tree for the new owners. I came back a few weeks later just to browse. I loved it. It is like a relaxing backyard. Thanks for making it an enjoyable visit. Good prices and good selection.
